Message from Broccilini Real Estate company regarding blasting schedule:

Below is the blasting schedule for this week – August 3rd to August 7th.

• Tuesday August 4th : one blast at 10am, second blast at 1:30pm

• Wednesday August 5th: one blast at 10am, second blast at 1:30pm

• Thursday August 6th: one blast at 10am, second blast at 1:30pm

• Friday August 7th: one blast at 10am, second blast at 1:30pm

All blast vibration levels are carefully monitored to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations and to alleviate the possibility of damage to nearby structures.

Prior to each blast, the blast site will be cleared of all persons and secured. This will be followed by a series of warning whistles that will be sounded to alert all persons in the vicinity:

Five short whistles – One minute to blast

Three short whistles – Blast is imminent

One long whistle – Blast is all clear

The 416 will be closed in BOTH directions for the 15 minute blasting window.

North bound ramp will remain open during this period, however south will be closed.

We’ve hired 4 OPP vehicles to coordinate the closures.
